Post 01: Introduction

        My name is Bradley Florence and I'm 20 years of age. I graduated from Pike County High School in 2020. During the worst year to possibly graduate. However; this did not stop our school from walking the stage. Our school managed to rent the Atlanta Motor Speedway and I was able to graduate during my class. With this I say that life always has a way of persevering. 

    I currently work part time during the day and the rest of my time is spent online working on a bachelors of  Aviation Management and Science. My goal is to eventually to be able to fly planes for Delta. My current job is working in Peachtree City, GA at a company called "CIDAN Machinery". Our company works with customers world wide including mainly customer's in Europe. The company is based on Sweden and on a daily basis I must communicate with our colleagues in order to strategize and come up with new ideas. This has allowed me to grow my communication style and typing/writing in general. However, in this class I hope to find out new ways to write and help with my customer service skills.

    Last year on July 13th 2021 - I shipped out to Texas to join the Air Force. I was in for about a week making some of the best memories I will ever have and will last for a lifetime. During this week, unfortunately I was sent to the hospital by the end of the week and eventually after two weeks of sitting in the Hospital in San Antonio, Texas I was diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis. This is a lifetime disease that forces me to have infusion treatments once every 8weeks. As the symptoms have subsided I have will never be able to join the military ever again. 



See this girl in the photo? That's Cate, my girlfriend of 3 years. She's been with me through all of the struggles in my past year, she has been my rock and as I'm writing this so at 11:46pm at night, she just graduated tonight from High School. I'm super excited for her and the adventure that me and her are going to begin.

Post 5: Logical Arguments

    Imagine you're in a classroom, you and your best friend of 5yrs. begin to to have a heated discussion. It then turns into an argument which from hence forth breaks apart the friendship and you never see him/her again after this day. This is a known strategy that we have all heard our entire lives known as an argument. Now there are different types of arguments and some can lead to good discussions and some may end in breakups, fights, or even losing a close friend.      All arguments don't have to end in hand to hand combat, many times in writing arguments are a good way to get across your point so you are able to explain to the reader your side of the story and why you believe what you believe. Post 2: My Rhetorical Situation

        Many students have a blockade when it comes to articulating and researching academic writing pieces in an academic session. Sure, we can all write an entire book when it comes to expressing our emotions over text message to our significant other when we're mad at them but when it comes to writing a piece for an academic setting who really wants to sit down and write about why school is the greatest thing to ever happen?      Blockade or Brain Block is defined as " an inability to recall some specific thing or perform some mental action." or in my personal definition; "I'm just too lazy to do it and I'll get to it".
